MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
The objective of the MOE FAS is to help financially needy Singaporean students in Government and Government-aided schools to meet basic schooling expenses.
For Primary and Secondary School students, the MOE FAS fully covers the cost of school and standard miscellaneous fees, textbooks and school uniforms, as well as meal and transport subsidies.

*Students who do not meet the criteria for the MOE FAS will be helped through our SGSS School-based FAS.

SUBMISSION
To apply for MOE FAS, you are strongly encouraged to submit through the eFAS
(eFAS link in Parent Gateway / Services / Financial assistance & Via Online form - https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas)

Completed forms together with all relevant supporting documents should be submitted to our school’s General Office or via email stgss@moe.edu.sg.
NOTE
1. If your child is a ComCare recipient, you need not submit the application for MOE FAS as MOE FAS will be auto-granted to ComCare beneficiaries.
2. For parents with children in different schools, you need to submit only one application form for all your school-going children to one of their schools. The school which receives the application form will inform you of the outcome for all the children.
3.Hardcopy form is required for:
a. families with other dependents (Great grandparents, Aunties/Uncles, Cousins and others)
b. family with more than 6 children in GGAS
c. family with more than 5 unmarried children not in GGAS
d. family with more than 3 grandparents in the household

The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund
Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF) 2025 Cycle 1
The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF) partners with Ministry of Education (MOE) in disbursing school pocket money to students from low-income families.
Students who meet the criteria will be able to apply for the fund through their respective participating mainstream schools. Beneficiaries enrolled in secondary education will receive $100/month
To apply, you may submit the softcopy application along with supporting documents via our school's email address (aes@moe.edu.sg), subject title “STSPMF 2025” orhardcopy application to the general office.
Application deadline is on 11 September 2024
*Please note that STSPMF is not the same as MOE Financial Assistance Scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
a. Student is a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)
b. Family has a gross per capita income (PCI) of $750/month or less (to be reviewed from time-to-time)
c. Student is receiving full-time formal education in a mainstream primary / secondary / mixed level / Junior College / Centralised Institute; Institutes of Technical Education; Polytechnic; Specialised; Independent; Specialised Independent; SPED; MOE-designated full-time Madrasahs and Mountbatten Vocational school
d. Is not concurrently receiving school pocket money fund from disbursing agencies
e. Is not concurrently receiving other similar monthly school pocket money schemes (Note that applicants under the MOE/SPED Financial Assistance Scheme are eligible)
f. Has not received the maximum 24 months of STSPMF assistance during their entire primary to secondary schooling years or 48 months for post-secondary schooling years.
*Note that successful applicants will be notified via email (if a valid one is indicated in this application) or a physical letter sent to residential address indicated. Unsuccessful applicants will only be notified via email if a valid email address is indicated in this application.
